4 Course Vegan is the reason we had to program our restaurant guide to accept locationless restaurants. Chef Matteo whips up awesome feasts, but you need to RSVP before you’re given directions to his secret lair of deliciousness. But this Saturday, June 9th at 7:30pm, Matteo is coming out into the sunshine to the Water Taxi Beach in Long Island City. Here’s the menu:

• Watermelon Salad with Jalepeno, Lime, and Maldon Sea Salt
• Cool Corn Chowder with Chipotle and Cilantro Crema
• Thyme-scented Cashew Cheeze Ravioli with Micro Greens and Thai Basil Pesto
• Strawberry Cream Tart with Chocolate Coconut Crust, Salted Macadamias, and Peppermint Syrup

There’s a cornucopia of ticketing options, from the $78 VIP ticket (includes full service, all the food, and “a flight of 5 wines”) to the $9 first course salad. You can get the full four courses for $44. Yeah, it’s expensive, but this is super-gourmet stuff. It’s worth it!
