Back in March, we reported on the story of Adam Durand, an animal advocate/ filmmaker who documented the abhorable conditions on Wegmans egg farm in his film Wegmans Cruelty only to have criminal charges brought against him.
Today a jury acquitted Durand of all charges. Oh, what an auspicious victory on International Respect for Chickens Day.
Update: It seems that while Adam Durand was acquitted of felony burglary charges, Buffalo News reports that he was convicted of criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor.
