Animal Voices interviews author of new book on factory farming of chickens

International Respect for Chickens Day coverage continues:

Listen to the Animal Voices radio program interview with Steve Striffler, an associate professor at the University of Arkansas and author of Chicken: The Dangerous Transformation of America’s Favorite Food. While Striffler seems to shy away from animal welfare issues, he does give emphasis to issues of immigration, xenophobia, racism, and poverty as related to the factory farming of chickens.
