Whenever I visit San Francisco, I spend several evening hours planning my activities for the next day. Since I’m a vegan foodie, a disproportionately large amount of my energy is directed towards planning how I might best eat my way from one veg-friendly corner of the Bay Area to another while somehow managing to squeeze in some sightseeing along the way.
I’ve always found Bay Area Veg’s Ultimate Guide superhelpful, but couldn’t help but whine about not being able to have it with me in my car whenever I felt the pangs of an unforcasted sweet toothache during a daytrip.
The good news is Bay Area Veg now offers a print version of the in-depth guide. The Ultimate Guide lists over 90 veg restaurants, over 200 veg-friendly spots, and over 70 health food stores in the user-friendly, informative format that we expect from the folks who brought us such a great website. You can search through the enormous options either geographically or alphabetically. There’s even a map of San Francisco. At only $5, you almost can’t afford to not make this book your Bay Area travel companion!
