As well as being SuperVegan’s resident authority on cheap eats, Patrick Kwan moonlights as the New York State Director of the Humane Society of the United States. He’s presenting a workshop tonight from 6:30-8pm at the Brooklyn Law School Student Lounge, 250 Joralemon Street, in Downtown Brooklyn. The event is sponsored by the BLS Student Animal Legal Defense Fund.

This will be an introduction to grassroots activism, from public education to lobbying. There will be vegan pizza (but probably not enough for you to totally stuff face) from Pizza Plus. And don’t just show up–you have to RSVP.
