Never underestimate the power of vegan cookies. I started eating Raspberry Tollbooth cookies at LifeThyme in Greenwich Village again. They truly are addictive. I’ve been thinking about them since I got up this morning and when I’ll go get them again.

Non-vegan friends that try any one of my favorites cannot deny their impressive flavor: the Tollbooth, Raspberry Tollbooth and Oatmeal Raisin are divine. Everyone instantly agree that they’re delicious. Some have difficulty believing these treats are egg and dairy free!

While we’re on the subject of cookies, I want to note how disappointed I am with the new Trader Joe’s in Union Square, a mere two blocks away from Whole Foods Market. They don’t have Trader Joe’s Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies or Vegan Trail Mix Cookies!

All the Trader Joe’s I visited in California have them, but it appears to be lacking on the east coast. I’m going to investigate. One of the clerks said they’re trying to coordinate their product lines from coast to coast. That should have been done from the beginning! Don’t keep me away from my cookies!
