"I’m Vegan" is a series of short documentary profiles showing American vegans from all walks of life going about their business. Prescott hopes to show that vegans are just like everyone else, except they've carried rather mainstream ideas about animals to their logical conclusion and become vegan. He believes the profiles will disprove common misconceptions that the vegan lifestyle is too difficult, extreme, or unhealthy.
Plans for distributing the profiles include posting them on YouTube and GoogleVideo, so that young snappers can easily share the potentially viral videos via MySpace and Facebook. There are even aspirations for PBS to pick up the docs!
Prescott also plans to compile "b roll" footage into a feature-length documentary-- a vegans-across-America road trip movie of sorts.
