Were You at the Veggie Pride Parade/Rally?

We were there. Were you? What'd you think? Here's what the New York Times thought.

I was pleased to have a great opportunity to sport my "Vegans Taste Like Chicken" T-shirt. (It looks like things were a lot more militant in France.)

It was very fun and I'm so glad lots of people showed-up! With this as our first year, next year should be awesome!

So far I've found a few news posts.

The NY Times published "Proud Vegetarians, in Costume, Take to the Streets.

The Daily News wrote Vegetables on march against meat biz

NY1 had a short video piece which is fairly favorable. Vegetarian Pride Takes Over Meatpacking District

And the AP did a very short piece on it which seems to have been published-out to about 20,000+ member news sites (based on google matches). Veggie Pride Parade urges 'Give Peas a Chance'

And those pieces seem fairly positive. Of course I wish they had picked-up "Go Veg to Stop Global Warming", but it was pretty good coverage.

    Here's to Veggie Pride!!!
