It's no surprise that she's a vegan; somehow, it just makes sense.
Recently, Ms. Hynde opened a vegan restaurant in her home town of Akron, Ohio called VegiTerranean; word from the vegan pulse is that it's not only delicious, but doing quite well.
If that weren't enough: today's Rush & Malloy of the Daily News reports the following:
Chrissie Hynde wants to open an NYC branch of her Akron, Ohio, restaurant, The VegiTerranean. She'd love the vegan venue to be in the Freedom Tower at Ground Zero. "There's been so much horrific blood and guts and violence there," she tells Peta.org, "that it'd be fitting to open a cool restaurant where no mangled, burnt bodies are on the menu."Another delicious vegan restaurant (and an Italian one at that) in NYC?
