Interview With A Vegan Pirate

October 28, 2008 10:06am

For the last six months or so, Tod Emko, SuperVegan's resident Vegan Pirate has blogged extensively about his experiences working aboard the Sea Shepherd Conversation Society's vegan pirate ship, the Steve Irwin.

Yesterday, Paul Watson, founder and president of Sea Shepherd sat down with Axis of Logic's Jason Miller and gave an intriguing interview on "Sticking It To The Man 21st Century Style". In it he gives his unique take on Greenpeace, being labeled a terrorist and his view on direct action.

It truly is a fascinating interview. Have a gander.

And, if you have yet to read up on Tod Emko's experiences, please do so; it's a great read.

Banksy, sympathetic to animals?!? Surely you are not serious.

In 2006, Bansky fully body-painted and displayed for days on end Tai, an unfortunate, for-hire Asian elephant in an LA gallery:

I don't think Banksy's tortured taxidermy exhibit is an indictment of animal exploitation. It IS animal exploitation.

Oops, wrong story for my comment, see below.

Watson's the real thing, a noble and courageous man.
