Vegan Drinks Is Thursday, November 20th

Vegan Drinks is tomorrow at Angels & Kings bar in the East Village. We'll have the usual cheap beers ($3 domestic, $4 imports) and crowd of wonderful people. Also, starting this month, it's one dollar off on all well drinks.
Special note to the media whores among you: This month, Planet Verge will be filming for their "On the Verge" Internet TV show. For those of you shy of the camera, you will be happy to know that they'll be steering away from crowd shots and focusing on the people being interviewed. Planet Verge wants to speak to you about being vegan and your involvement within the vegan and AR community.
As usual, we'll turn down the music at around 8pm and encourage people to promote themselves, their groups and/or causes for 30 seconds. If you represent a veg*n or animal rights group, come prepared with your (very short!) spiel and literature.
If you have friends down in DC, a good conversation starter for asking if you can crash at their place during the innauguration would be to tell them about the new DC Vegan Drinks. (Their first event will be on January 8th at Science Club.)
The next New York City Vegan Drinks event will be on December 18.
