Oh, no, Jake. You've gone and done it now. The milk is one thing, but the pig? Why? As a working actor, don't you personally know people that abstain from harming animals? It just struck me as odd for you to be so pro-bacon. Is that sensitive guy routine only an act too? Surely, you realize legions of adoring fans will be displeased by such blatant boasting about animal slaughter? Yes, you're entitled to your opinions (however misguided they may be) but it's not good ethics or good press for you. Babe would certainly disapprove!
Adams notes a comment in a reaction letter from Roslyn Krause: "I had previously admired Jake Gyllenhaal, but after reading the interview with him ... I will never spend money for another one of his films." I doubt she's alone on that assertion.

His fans have no right to be displeased by this unless they are vegan/vegetarian. Anyone who eats pigs and is upset by his remark is inevitably a hypocrite. Unless they're just upset that he said it out loud...
