PETA Continues to Be Ridiculous, In the Real World and Elsewhere

Hey, it feels like a long time since I made fun of PETA! Well, they're taking bragging rights for Burton's decision to drop fur. They've hung up a big "Mission Accomplished" banner and are moving on to Iran Guess next. Uh, guys, Burton still sells plenty of down and leather ... are those somehow extracted from ethically treated animals?! The PETAneers have also erected a massive advertisement for Stella McCartney in Second Life, memorializing the big virtual demo and festival on Stella McCartney Island (of course she has a friggin island).

  I am technically a member of PETA (mainly because that "VEGAN" hoodie was too much for me to pass over), but yes, there are so many campaigns that are botched or poorly executed. I think it's really more a problem coming out of the PETA2.com side. For those that don't know, PETA2 is PETA geared to the 13-25 age bracket.   I try and do what I can to help them along, but it'll do your head in even after a measly 5 minutes. It's really more a training ground for other organizations when PETA members get fed up or teaching kiddos new ways to vandalize and destroy things.

Their latest is wanting fish to be called SEA KITTENS I mean afew years ago PETA wanted the town of FISHKILL, N.Y. to change their name to FISHSAVE(DUMB NAME)and the town of HAMBURG, N.Y. to change their name to VEGGIEBURG(EVEN MORE DUMB)and they tried to get the GREEN BAY PACKERS to change their name to PICKERS and still their a bunch of idiots in HOLLYWOOD to donate and do stupid ads for them PETA IS FOR IDIOTS ALONE
