What are the best vegetarian restaurants in New York City? Ah, the neverending discussion topic amongst NYC vegans... until now, because SuperVegan has found the truth! Or, well, we've added together the subjective ratings of our website visitors and come up with a list.

Rankings are based on the reviews you all have been posting on our site for the past year and a half. To be considered, a restaurant must be completely vegetarian and have at least three five reviews.

So what's the best veggie restaurant in New York City? Well, today it's the perfectly reviewed Hangawi. (Congratulations, Hangawi! SuperVegan readers love you.)

  agreed. everytime i used to go to zen palate i'd feel sick after eating there. not to mention they used to lie about what was vegan :P

  Hey now, folks. Don't shoot the messengers. Like politics, the SuperVegan Top 10 Vegetarian Restaurants list is not a spectator sport. We did not choose who is (or isn't) included in the list. The results are based on what people who took the time to review the restaurants have to say and it can change any time depending on your and everyone else's reviews. So, if you want to rave or rant about a restaurant, please make sure you file the review instead of just leaving them here. Thanks!!
