Birdie's - get your fried soy chicken nuggets fix here.
While we're still eagerly anticipating for Zen Burger to open in midtown and 'sNice to open in Park Slope (damn construction delays!), here are a few new additions to our restaurant guide for you to check out.
If this ain't enough, check out Midtown Lunch's first look at Zen Burger and its comments section for some juicy gossip.
- At Birdie's in the East Village, fried soy chicken nuggets are just the tip of the ice berg, make sure to also try their many vegan sides and finish off with the Ciao Bella sorbets.
- Corner Shop Cafe is the perfect spot to take a break from your Soho shopping or volunteering. Grab a table and enjoy BabyCakes treats with their vegan-friendly salads, sandwiches, sides and appetizers - their fried artichokes with sea salt and lemon are awesome!
- Lassi serves up signature parathas and traditional Indian dishes in a sleek storefront in the Greenwich Village.
- Housed in a skateboard shop, Homage Organics in Cobble Hill has chili with soy meat and an extensive juice and smoothie bar. Vegan pastries/baked goods are often available.
