I highly recommend this event – for vegans and curious non-vegans. I heard Lawrence Carter-Long and Gene Baur speak this past Thxgiving at Farm Sanctuary’s California sanctuary, and it was the best talk I’d heard all year long. Drag your non-vegan friends along, if possible. They won’t be disappointed.

This is like going up to the “mountaintop” to get some inspiration, to get “enthused” about your lifestyle and moral choices, and strengthen them. Being in the presence of human beings like Lawrence and Gene is worth the long trip from whatever state you’re in (geographically or mentally, as the case may be).
