Farm Sanctuary founder Gene Baur kicks off the tour for his new book, Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food in New York City on Tuesday, March 4th with a sold out party at the Salmagundi Art Club. If you’re not on the guest list, don’t fret; Baur will make over a dozen tour stops across the country before April is through. In fact, on the following evening, Columbia Law School will host Baur along with lawyer David Wolfson, who has represented a number of animal protection organizations including Farm Sanctuary.
I haven’t had an opportunity to read Farm Sanctuary, but it’s been getting lots of advance praise from the veg and non-veg community. Booklist gave it a starred review, calling the book “a life-altering read.”
Visit GeneBaur.org for more info on the book and to check out the tour calendar.
