How stupid do you have to be? At least register a few days in advance and review a few other restaurants before you post your bullshit fake reviews.

I wish I could rate this restaurant a "0" to counter all the liars. Maybe this restaurant is actually good, but I'll never know because these fake reviews have inspired me to NEVER GO HERE.

Dinner for two: Our initial perception of the atmosphere was soothing and comfortable, it was exactly what we were looking for. After being guided to our seats by the friendly wait staff, which never stopped smiling, we read over the elaborate menu and our server explained to us the differences between tribal and neo-tribal choices.

We started with the Apache Desert salad, which had a very refreshing minty dressing and was obviously FRESH! As well as the Indigenous People, which caught my eye immediately, the grilled cactus and caramelized fennel was a unique blend of flavors.

After we made our friendly server explain most of the dishes, we chose our entrees which included the Tribal Ocean, the curry was delicious and not too spicy. As well as the Volcano heart which warmed us up right away. The food was obviously fresh, it did not taste like cheap frozen vegetables, the service was really good, our server complimented our every dish with the organic wines that were offered. Our server was knowledgable and not overwhelming with annoyance, unlike many other servers in the Queens area.

Overall Tierra Sana was not overly expensive for the unique cuisine experience, I would DEFINATELY COME BACK and enjoy it again. Thanks so much Tierra Sana for some authentic native food.

I figure I should leave a review for this place since I eat from here about once a week. I pretty much always have a good meal here. It's definitely not perfect, but honestly, there are very few vegan restaurants that are, in my opinion.
Their nachos are incredible, and I love their chicken burrito. For brunch, their tofu scramble is awesome, as well as their pancakes and sausage. I agree with some past reviews about their homefries. They seem to be hit or miss (sometimes undercooked and underseasoned). As far as their entrees, I really like their sauteed veggies and I'm digging on two new ones they added, the tacos and the pad thai.
I also can see what people say about the service. Everyone seems nice, but if the owner isn't there, the service can get real slow.
That being said, they're definitely trying to get better all the time and I've talked to the owner before and find him to be a friendly and sincere guy. On top of that, I'd say at least 80% of the menu is truly really, really good vegan food.

god!!! i didnt ate good food for soooo long time in the city!!!
but after i visit at siggy's im shocked!!!
that was awesome!!! good food good drinks the music was great the crew there was kind.
im absolutely going back!!!!

this is probably the best thai food i have ever had. i'm not the biggest fan of fake meats, but the mock duck is delicious. it is crispy and chewy and absorbs the flavor of the dish really well. the lemongrass mock duck is really good, though i thought the red curry string bean dish was even better. unlike most thai curries, it isn't rich because it isn't coconut milk based. it has lots of lime leaves and just the right amount of spice. i had the spicy basil tofu once and it was really, really spicy. a lot of places tone down the spice for gringo-types, but not this place. i just wish you could dine in. the lone table seems to be reserved for the delivery people and orders waiting to be picked up.

Wait.. "Not Vegetarian"? That could be a miscategorization... they definitely don't have BOTH meat and dairy, and I don't recall them selling meat, so what could be dairy?

Shared a couple sandwiches - the turkey club was just alright, but the chicken salad melt on pumpernickel was fabulous. Also had the cider with port: delicious, unique, and a pretty decent value at $8 for a giant cup.

I'd like to return to try the two vegan entrees and maybe some tea. They seemed to have a lot of sweets and cakes and whatnot, but I don't eat that stuff, so it doesn't really factor as a positive for me. All in all, I get the impression that it's a nice, simple cafe sorta place, kinda like 'snice.

I love this place so I am really sad to report what I just learned, but I think that people should know: I've heard from a reliable source, who has witnessed this first-hand, that Candle 79 & Cafe use GLUE TRAPS to deal with their rodent issues.
This has got to be one of the most inhumane ways to trap mice/rats. I guess they've never heard of have-a-heart traps??

I dont know. Something seems off about this last review as well. Maybe it's paranoia because of what happened, but this review seems a little to perfect. Just the right amount of casualness, but essentially the same sentiments from the phony reviews.....

I love the food and the dessert,specially their salads and their cheeseless cheese cake. My 21 and 23 year old sons also enjoy their meals and said they would like to come back.I wish them success and hope that one day they open another restaurant by me in Long Island.

I really enjoyed my food (mushroom ravioli with almond cream sauce).
I have to give a 1 for atmosphere however, because I noticed at the end of my meal that I had been sitting with a large uninvited insect which didn't make me too happy....

This place is really sweet! I love the decor. A great date place. It's a bit more spacious than I expected (for New York of course). The people are really nice and how can you really complain about vegan ice cream?

They get an A for effort even if the pizza is more in the B- range. The BBQ chicken and Veggie pizzas were good. The avocado/black bean pizza was a bit strange and the sausage roll was inedible (I really wanted to like it, but it was just fake meat and fake cheese inside of dough--no sauce or anything--so it just ended up tasting, well, fake). Servers were really nice and they get an extra point for the Tom Hanks trash can! I also love that they're right next to Penny Licks.

the coffee here is not very good. i didn't bother getting a refill. i also had the vegan french toast, which was really soggy but tasted okay (mostly like vanilla extract). it did take a really long time for them to make it, though, and seemed a bit overpriced for two floppy pieces of bread. the man working there was very nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice (not super cramped, like many coffee shops). even though some improvements could be made, it's a nice place to hang out at in this neighborhood.

i went here for brunch a few weeks ago and found it to be really disappointing. the coffee was awful (totally burned-tasting, like bad diner coffee). i thought maybe it was just the bottom of the pot, but the refill tasted the same. i ordered the tofu scramble, which was fine, with sausage, toast, and potatoes. instead of sausage, i was given tempeh bacon, which was mediocre and i think was just that stuff from a package. the potatoes were inedible because they had so much paprika on them, like they were covered in the thick layer of powder. the toast also came plain, no butter or jam. it was a pretty sucky breakfast, and it was not cheap. the service was equally terrible, i think because i was sitting outside; we never got the water that we asked for and after waiting 20 minutes after finishing to get the check, we ended up just cashing out inside. what a bummer.

this place is great! the food is similar to that of red bamboo, but the menu is larger, the portions are way bigger and are less expensive. there is a lot of fake meat, but also plenty of all-veggie options. i split the sugar cane drumsticks and udon soup with someone else, and both were excellent. the sauce for the drumsticks was very flavorful and not too sweet. the broth in the soup was very rich and savory and there were plenty of vegetables. we also ordered the veggie kung pao chicken entree, but were too full after the shared soup and appetizer to eat it. i did try one bite before having it boxed up, and the sauce there was also excellent (not too sweet or salty, but lots of flavor), the "chicken" had great flavor and texture and there were plenty of vegetables. i like that you choose brown rice instead of white. my only (minor) complaints about this place are that the dining area is somewhat cramped, and the pot of tea is bagged tea, not loose leaf. i will definitely be back.
