On Friday, Oct. 20, the new film Flicka opens. Because two horses died during filming, a lot of people in a lot of cities are going out to protest.
If you’d like to participate, check out this site, where you can download protest kits and post a message (under “Have Your Say!”) to find others in your city. You can also download flyers to hand out here.
If you’re on MySpace, you can post your location and make plans to meet with other activists here and here.
If you’re not comfortable demonstrating but would like to take a stand for animals in the entertainment industry, tell everyone you know why they shouldn’t go see this film.
Thanks to Frank Language for letting us know about this.
