Free wine tastings at Counter: tomorrow and beyond

Tomorrow evening (Tuesday, March 25th) Counter will host the first installment of Rebels with a Cause, a series of free events that allow guests to not only sample a new eco-friendly wine, but also to meet the winemaker and learn about the process involved in creating the wine.

Tuesday, March 25th, 5-6:30pm: Meet Alison Sokol Blosser of Oregon’s organic solar-powered winery Sokol Blosser.

Sunday, April 13th, 5-6:30pm: Meet Kevin Chambers of Resonance Vineyard, a certified biodynamic winery which is also located in Oregon.

Sunday, April 27th, 5-6:30pm: Meet Joseph Heller of Heller Estates, an organic winery in Monterey California.

    biodynamic farming is not vegan. they used the horns from lactating cows to potentize the soil, as well as deer bladder to get in touch with cosmic forces. after talking to a few biodynamic farmers in australia i realized they hippie wingnuts.
