Yummy, yummy VEGAN smores and marshmallows by Sweet & Sara!!!
Though the vegan goddess Sara Sohn has been churning out her awesome smores pies and marshmallows in Long Island City for a couple years now, they were just available to the public by mail or at select non-NYC places. Her fellow New Yorkers were only able to get our paws on her famous treats through an underground network of shady dealings. (Even though I went to high school with her, I couldn’t even get them whenever I wanted. Urgh!)
Now New Yorkers can enjoy Sweet & Sara’s scrumptious gooey treats just like everyone else across the country!
Sweet & Sara smores pies and marshmallows (which come in Mexican Chocolate, Vanilla and Toasted Coconut – my personal favorite!) can now be found at Whole Foods in the New York metro area in the refrigerated take-out dessert sections.
Grab them before they are gone (until the next shipping anyways) at the following Whole Foods:
NYC-area: Chelsea, Bowery, Columbus Circle, Union Square, Jericho and White Plains
New Jersey: Red Bank, Edgewater, Middletown, West Orange and Montclair
CT: Greenwich
For additional info on availability cross-country (it’s even available in Santa Fe!), check out Sweet & Sara’s website. Obviously, if they are not available at your favorite stores locally, you should ask them to carry these yummies!
Disclosure: Ms. Sohn is responsible for getting me to go vegan when I was just a sweet little innocent vegetarian.

on #I’m not sure any of these will help you Melisser, but Sweet and Sara is now distributed to a lot more places than they used to be, all over the country. Go to the
http://sweetandsara.com/ and scroll down for the list. (You just can’t get them at Whole Foods outside of the NYC area. Yet)
