Greenwashing Alert! Procter & Gamble

Animal rescuer?

Animal rescuer?

I just found out about this really neat website that teaches me how I can help protect wildlife from nasty oil spils. It also encourages me to spread the word to my friends. Oh, who is it owned by, you ask? The animal lovers at Procter & Gamble, of course!

Yep, that’s right kids. The notoriously unapologetic animal abuser, household and cosmetic corporate giant Procter & Gamble just launched the Dawn Make a Difference campaign. The homepage of the pretty website reads, “Our goal is for one million people to do their part to reduce the harm done to animals from human actions.”

Hmmm…that sounds great, but I could think of a much easier way for them to help millons more animals every year: Stop testing Dawn dish detergent and other ecologically irresponsible products on them!
