IMPACT-ed
Sad news for those of us who care about publishing. After ten years in print, IMPACT press, a magazine that took social justice, revolutionary zeal, and animal rights equally seriously, is closing, thwarted (as ever) by a lack of advertising from those who either should have supported it or didn’t have enough money to do the righteous thing.
Mind you, ten years is a long time for a magazine to keep going. We feel sure that, as editor Craig Mazer puts it, “IMPACT’s 10 years of publishing has ‘impacted’ the thousands and thousands of readers who have dirtied their fingers [ah! the joys of newsprint] while soaking in what the magazine had to offer.”
By the way, Craig will be sending out a note soon about a sale on t-shirts, so you should keep visiting their website. While there, you can also check out the final issue.
