The organizers of Veggie Conquest and the Veggie Prom are throwing Veg-O-Ween this Saturday, October 29. It’ll be at the “high concept” omni Mexican restaurant Crema, who’re going vegan for this event. Nice omni restaurants tend to make great vegan food when they dedicate themselves to the task, so I’m betting this food will be damn good.

Desserts will be from Vérité Catering, and thus are guaranteed to be excellent.

Plus there’s drinks and music and prizes and whatnot. The whole shebang.

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. To metaphorically lighten the weight on your pursestrings, keep in mind that the event is a benefit for the always deserving Mercy for Animals.

And wear a costume, doofus. Nobody wants to be at a Halloween party with people who can’t bother to dress up.
