It’s Yo Momma’s Day, You Better Work It!

The day will come when we will be able to say Happy Mother's Day to all.

The day will come when we will be able to say Happy Mother’s Day to all.

Ok, I confess that I almost forgot that Mother’s Day is this Sunday. Last night at the Brooklyn Blogfest, I actually invited some fellow bloggers at the Blogfest such as Gary and Kate at Brooklyn Runs to join me on Sunday to check out Brooklyn’s newest vegan restaurant, Jill’s in Cobble Hill. (Let’s reschedule, folks!)

So where are you folks bringing your mommy? And what’s your recommendation for folks who may be on a budget? (Oh, and if you’re looking for a fun event with mom this weekend, check out BKLYN DESIGNS, it should be amazing!)

FYI…Counter has their Mother’s Day Menu posted as a PDF file, Candle Cafe and Candle 79 are still working on their specials, Blossom will serve their regular menu, and it’s basically guaranteed that the folks at Angelica Kitchen will think up some witty names for their Mother’s Day specials.

I think it’d be funny to bring my mom to Foodswings!

I took my mom to brunch at Caravan of Dreams last year and it was pretty nice. They just had a regular menu and, of course, the red sangria was delicious. They’re a pretty expensive place but the brunch is cheaper than dinner…
