Spoil yourself with these aromatic waffles while the leaves are turning and the winter chill is imminent. These are also ideal to wow your family with the morning after Thanksgiving.

1 cup soymilk
One–third cup oil
2 cups of flour
One–half tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1 cup applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon (experiment with adding cloves, nutmeg, and ginger)

  • Prepare Ener-G Eggs
  • Add soymilk and oil
  • Add vanilla
  • In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients except for the applesauce
  • Sift into egg mixture and mix well
  • Add applesauce

Makes about 6 waffles.

Looks delicious. If I can find a waffle iron I will try to make them.
