Moo Shoes Becomes a Pet Oasis on Sat. 4/26

This Saturday, Moo Shoes will host a companion animal adoption day for the cats and dogs of Oasis Sanctuary, a safe haven for rescued critters founded by Eddie Lama, subject of the anti-fur documentary The Witness. 3 years ago, Moo Shoes co-owner Erica Kubersky adopted her own dog Lucy at an Oasis adoption day hosted by the vegan shoes and accessories shop. 9 cats and 5 dogs are expected to attend this upcoming event; perhaps one of them will become your new best friend.

Moo Shoes has committed to donate 10% of the day’s sales to Oasis Sanctuary, so whether you meet the pup of your dreams or pick up the perfect pumps you can help make a difference for animals in need.

Lest you make any life or sole altering decisions on an empty stomach or a parched palate, Pumpkin’s Organic Market has donated free vegan refreshments for the event.

Saturday, April 26, 2008. 11:30AM-6PM. 78 Orchard Street (between Broome & Grand), New York, NY. J,M,Z,F trains to Delancey-Essex station. Free.
