The NME has just reported that Morrissey’s tour won’t be stopping in Canada. The vegetarian singer is boycotting the country in protest of its annual slaughter of baby seals.

This is one of many times Morrissey has used his celebrity to promote humane treatment of animals, so I hate to get all vegan police, but I can’t help but wonder why, after all these years, the singer has yet to make a personal commitment to boycott leather.
