The meaty mural at Willie’s.
We at SuperVegan HQ recently added a whole slew of new restaurants to our NYC vegan restaurant guide–about half of which are in Brooklyn. On the Williamsburg/Bushwick side of the Navy Yard, there’s the Lucky Cat, an all-veg lounge and sandwich shop with some sweet happy hour specials; Vinnie’s Pizza, with Follow Your Heart mozzarella for pizzas and some vegan specials (ask!); and the Archive, for all of your coffee shop slash DVD-rental needs. Down south in Cobble Hill, there’s greasy diner fare at Schnack; Jill’s, for your pricey raw food pleasure; and May Wah mock meat at Chan’s Golden City. And vegans and their babies in Park Slope can chow on Tofurkey franks and marinated carrots (seriously) at Willie’s Dawgs, or order some stand-by faux flesh Chinese at Red Hot (not as spicy as it sounds).
Stay tuned for info on other additions, and don’t forget to leave reviews for all your favorites.
