New website helps youngsters get active for animals

Is there a kid in your life who is just dying to get active for animals? If so, send him in the direction of ClubSAGA is the web home of Student’s Animal Guardian Alliance, a new group formed by Animal Welfare Trust to assist animal welfare clubs in their goals to promote a more humane society.

At ClubSAGA, students can find all the resources they need to get started helping animals. There’s info on how to start a club at school, ideas for activism, and info on how to get funding for group activities. The website also has an educational component–providing easy-to-digest info on animal welfare issues along with links to site with more in-depth info.

The best thing about ClubSAGA is it provides a much needed safe-space for youngsters to network. Only registered members of a SAGA group can log onto the forum, so parents don’t have to worry about lecherous adults making moves on their kids. Once there, students can share ideas and get support and encouragement from like-minded peers.

Kudos to Animal Welfare Trust for creating this great online community where young activists can be nurtured!
