I admit that my job search has kind of kept me out of the vegan loop, but was anyone else surprised to read in the New York Times that Mike White is vegan? I L-O-V-E love Mike White (Chuck & Buck is one of my all-time favorite movies), so I can hardly contain myself. I’m slightly embarrassed that I had to read about his veganism in the Times Style section, of all places, but whatever, I’ll get over it.

The brief article, titled “The Vegan Side of Rock”, is pretty much a pointless promo for the new film Nacho Libre (which White co-wrote), but there is a priceless pic of Jack Black (one of my favorite omnivores) about to kick Mike White in the face with his bare foot.

Update: Mike White is maybe not so vegan after all.
