Opening Day at Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary on Sunday, April 1

Woodstock Farm Animal Santuary reopens to the public tomorrow Sunday, April 1st. Folks are invited to make a day of it by visting the farm then attending a jazz-infused benefit afterparty at local shi-shi restaurant, Marion’s Country Kitchen.

Afterparty tickets are $65, but the price includes wine, all vegan gourmet appetizers, and live performances by Eric Mingus and The Bruce Katz Band. As a bonus, guests also take home a free autographed copy of Eric Marcus’ Meat Market! No foolin’!

The details: Sunday, April 1st. Woodstock, NY. Sanctuary visit: 11am-4pm. Visit WFAS’s visitor’s page for info about location, directions, and public transportation options. $5 suggested donation. Benefit party: 5pm-8pm. Marion’s Country Kitchen, 20 Country Club Lane, Off 375 at the Woodstock Lodge. $65 per ticket.
