Paris and her pooch

It seems Paris Hilton has had a change of heart when it comes to wearing fur. After meeting Heather Mills, Paris declared her fur finale.

“I am not going to be wearing fur anymore…I met up with (Mills) and she showed me videos of how badly the animals are treated. It is just disgusting. I am an animal lover.”

Well, Paris, if you really loved animals you’d stop eating them too and declare your vegetarianism. But you know what? We’ll give you time to sort things out. This is a great step in the right direction.

Martha Stewart is another notable woman who has recently said no to fur. Thanks to her daughter, Alexis, Martha realizes she can still look chic without slaying our four-legged friends.

Celebs that set examples by showing the public more humane ways to live and dress are true stars. The with-it fashion plate, and the domestic arts icon, Paris and Martha further elevate the appeal of faux fur.

As Paris would invariably say, “That’s hot!”
