Are you the last vegan on earth without your very own Veganomicon?
Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero were on NPR’s Weekend Edition yesterday. If you missed it, you can listen online.
That was enough to make Veganomicon the best-selling cookbook on Amazon for a while, though as of this writing Skinny Bitch in the Kitch is outselling it. Two vegan cookbooks battling it out for the top spot! How awesome is that?! I haven’t really looked at any of the Skinny Bitch stuff yet (I somehow get the sense I’m not their target demographic), but it seems to have gained an awful lot of mainstream traction.
Anyway, Isa has just announced Terry’s and her own upcoming projects: The Crack Of Noon, a brunch cookbook by Isa (Spring 2009), a vegan cookie cookbook by Terry and Isa (Fall 2009), a “vegan Latina” book by Terry (Fall 2010), and a “vegan entertaining” book by Isa and “maybe by Terry a little bit, we shall see” (also Fall 2010).
Maybe this leaves 2008 clear to make some more TV shows. And Isa is still threatening to open a restaurant one of these days…

on #Veganomicon may be the best name for a book in the history of books. And by “may be” I mean “is”.
