Mark your datebook. The second annual Taking Action for Animals Conference is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend in Washington, DC. This motivational and edcuational conference is sponsored by ASPCA, Animal Protection Institute, Doris Day Animal League, Farm Sanctuary, and HSUS. Speakers include Peter Singer, Mutts cartoonist Patrick McDonnell, and others.
