I just got a big ol’ orange postcard in the mail yesterday. You know what that means—it’s election time again. The primary is September 12 and the general election is November 7.
Folks who decide to give the political system a chance should turn to League of Humane Voters of New York City (LOHV-NYC) for help figuring out which levers to pull and which chads to poke. The supergroup that’s been giving animals a political voice since 2001 has listed its endorsements for the upcoming election online, making it even easier for you to find animal-friendly candidates.
And just so you don’t have to go to the voting booths naked, LOHV-NYC is now selling t-shirts, trucker hats, and hoodies. Visit their online shop now and show this great group some LOHV!

on #Brian Kavanagh is endorsed by the League of Humane Voters (and several other groups, including the Stonewall Democrats); he’s running for Assembly.
I just did three hours phone-banking this evening for Brian!
