Pamela Anderson for PETA

SNARLS to Michelle Rodriguez. Who does she think she is taking Skanda, a nine-week-old tiger clubbing with her? The Lost star must have momentarily lost her mind. PETA’s Dan Mathews, said:

“We know Michelle Rodriguez is an animal lover, but I think she is unaware how infant animals need to be around their mother and not a clanging party scene.

“They’re not meant to be an ornament at a party, even one that is designed to raise money for animals. It kind of defeats the purpose.”

You bet it does.

SMILES to activists in Pamplona, Spain protesting the of running of the bulls. There were some women running topless or in their unmentionables (blush), and most of the men wore underwear. One man was naked except for a makeshift loincloth. It takes a lot of courage to go public nude or semi-nude; but this is a cause that needs attention and takin’ it to the streets in your skivvies is one way to do it!

SMILES to Pamela Anderson. In keeping with the shedding clothing theme, the curvy blonde bombshell flashed some skin for a fundraiser staged by PETA at Stella McCartney‘s boutique in London.

“I’m here to hopefully raise a lot of money and if we raise enough I’ll strip naked in the shop window,” declared Pamela as the shindig got underway. And the Stacked actress was true to her word, happily dispensing with her white dress and bikini top when enough donations had been received. Passers-by didn’t get to see the mum-of-two entirely “au naturelle”, though, as a strategically-positioned banner with the slogan “we’d rather bare skin than wear skin” covered her essentials.

Stella was there, and also present (fully clothed) was X-Files star Gillian Anderson.

Prior to the skin-baring, Pam presented awards to celebs in recognition of their animal rights efforts. Rocker Chrissie Hynde was recognized for pressuring fast-food and clothing companies. Tennis player Martina Navratilova was honored for her campaigning work. The nine-time Wimbledon champ said, “I’ve been an animal lover all my life and I don’t think people know about the stuff that goes on.”
