Update, December 18, 2008: Sticky Fingers is no longer operating in New York City. We’re not sure exactly when they stopped.
If you’ve ever had Sticky Fingers‘ Cowvin Cookies (two salty yet sweet oatmeal bars with a creamy vanilla filling) you’ll be pleased to know that DC’s premier vegan bakery’s goods are now available in NYC!
You can find the Cowvins, sticky buns, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, biscotti and carrot spice or poppy seed muffins (and perhaps one day the breakfast sandwich too, according to Doron Petersan, Sticky Fingers’ Co-Owner) at: Tillie’s (who also carry Vegan Honey goodies), 248 DeKalb Ave in Ft Greene, Red Horse Café, 497 6th Avenue in Park Slope, and Soy Luck Club, 115 Greenwich Ave in Greenwich Village.
Update: Soy Luck Club didn’t place an order last week. Perhaps the owner, Veronica, just needs to hear from more fans of Sticky Fingers. We can’t enjoy their scrumptious desserts if they aren’t carried locally!
