I might go…I wish I was closer though. I’m 75 miles away, don’t get out of class until 7:40pm and I’ll have to drive back right after it’s done to have class and work the following day…

I’ll think it over. I’m sure it will be great fun!

I’m 20…is it alright to come? I noticed it was at a bar and someone told me I should ask first.
(other than that, I’m planning to go :) )

It is indeed a bar. No idea if they’ll be carding, or there’s any option for an “I’m not drinking” pass. It could be a bit of a gamble, I guess. Sorry to not have a better answer for you.

Quincy, I would hate for you to travel so far and not get in. You might want to try calling the bar to check their policy; their number is (212) 254-9184.

Grrrr, 11 months too young. oh well!

I guess it’s more convenient this way, but I would have loved to be able to go.

Sounds great. What exactly is free? Is it just free to go, or are there also free appetizers, free drinks, free desserts? I’m a bit confused, and I want to make sure I bring enough money. I’m coming from CT. Thanks. I can’t wait.

FREE vegan bites from local veg restaurants (please don’t starve yourself all day and expect to fill yourself up at the party), FREE admission, and FREE dessert samples. CASH BAR – that’s as in you pay for your drinks!

Best of all, FREE COMPANY from SuperVegan bloggers, friends, and fans! Some of us normally charge $150-$200 and more per hour in professional fees! (no, no, no – get your mind out of the gutter.)

Yep, Patrick explained it right. Entrance is free, and awesome restaurants are donating free food. You still have to pay for drinks. ;)

Also, everyone, bring your camera! We’ll set up space on Flickr afterward so that we can all share photos. :)

Oh, regarding my “professional fees” comment, I’ve been informed by some folks that I should speak for myself and encourage those of you who do have your minds in the gutter to keep it in there.
