Or not. What do you think?
*drumroll, please*
We’re excited to announce that we’ve added comments to the SuperVegan blog. This is the single most requested feature on SuperVegan, so we hope you will enjoy it!
Posting comments is super easy. Just click the “Comments” link at the bottom of each post. This’ll take you right to the “Comments” section, where you can read other people’s comments and add your own.
You do have to register first, but we’ve done our very best to make registration as simple as possible. You’ll be able to post your comment immediately. And, of course, we will keep your personal information totally private and will never spam you. We’re not like that. Promise.
We’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Don’t hesitate to share your honest opinions; we know these are contentious topics, and not everyone thinks the same. One thing we don’t like is personal attacks, though; if you’re going to disagree, please focus on opinions, not on people.
So what have you been dying to tell us? Go ahead and try it out!
(See, I told you we had nifty stuff coming up.)

on #I’ve been hooked on SuperVegan since learning about the site in Veg News. It’s interesting, meaningful reading…and a great source of comprehensive information on all things vegan.
SuperVegan REALLY DOES rock!
animalfriendly
on #Who does your web design?
Laura Leslie
on #animalfriendly, we do our own web design. In general, Jason Das does front-end stuff, and I do back-end stuff.

on #Elina,
PETA (www.peta2.com/takecharge/t-cafeteria.asp) and PCRM (www.pcrm.org/health/veginfo/college.html) can help you figure out how to best approach your school’s dining hall management.
Until your school gets with the program, if you’re in NYC, you can enjoy NYU’s monthly vegan all-you-can-eat dinners, which are open to the public: http://www.campusdish.com/en-US/eCampus1/NYU/Locations/HaydenDiningHall.htm.
Good luck!

on #Finally! :D Glad to see this option. Keep the news coming; it’s keeping me up-to-date, and inspiring me.
Only issue I have is the promotion of sexist campaigns, a la PeTA; otherwise, Super Vegan is doing a great job.

on #Nice to have comments. Only it is maybe too easy to accidentally post before you are ready. I just had a problem posting a comment about Karin’s name change. My typing assist program somehow tripped the “add my comment” button. I would be nice to have a auto preview step.
Laura Leslie
on #sleckie, I’m sorry you’re having problems.
I’ll see if there’s anything we can do to fix it. What browser and operating system are you using? Any idea what you might’ve pressed to cause the comment to submit prematurely?

on #I am using Safari, MacOSX and a typing assist program call yType which is part of a program call CopyPaste. There is a weird bug. When I type “media” it rewrites it as massmedia. This also tripped the submit button somehow. I will test again now – massmediam
sleckie
on #Yes. It happened again.

on #It’s great to see comments by other vegans. I only know one other vegan, and she’s my daughter. Thanks for a great site!
Laura Leslie
on #sleckie, I’ve looked into this and it seems most likely that the problem is with yType. You may want to consult their help files, upgrade to a new version, or turn off the program when posting here. I’m sorry there’s not much more we can do to help.
