Craig Newmark makes it a little easier.
SuperVegan isn’t the only one hiring! If you’re in the market for a new vegany job, food service is the first place to look: there are openings for assistant manager at the Millenium Restaurant in San Francisco and manager at LA’s Real Food Daily; or you could serve food at a “chic vegan restaurant” in NYC. It’s unclear whether chic means you’re paid more or if you just have to dress better.
There are also a couple more unique opportunities if you’re an unemployed coastal vegan. New York’s bio-fueled Mean Green Trucking is looking for vegan and vegetarian movers. They prefer the younger and stronger of the lot as, owner Izzy Zaidman says, they “can’t justify paying for slow or ineffective labor just on a matter of politics.” And in LA, a “famous vegan chef” seeks research assistants/interns to help write a vegan cookbook and test recipes–in exchange for food.
And don’t forget Victoria–she’s always looking for new hires.

on #Unfortunately that particular “chic vegan restaurant” doesn’t pay its employees yet or give them schedules. So, don’t waste your time.

on #Hi,
It is 2012 and I am looking to move to Santa Barbara to eventually open a cafe. As I saving the money I really need a job as a Server, Waiter, Living Foods Chef and or Vegan Restaurant Manager. Where do I begin to look? What contacts can I make through you. Thank you so much for reading this 520-891-2088 anytime
