This Sun 4/27, Party to Help Farm Animals in NYC and Elsewhere!

Want to help farm animals and enjoy scrumptious treats from some of NYC’s best veg restaurants and bakeries? Then you MUST attend this Sunday, April 27th’s NYC Party to Help Farm Animals that I’m hosting in Tribeca as a volunteer on behalf of The Humane Society Legislative Fund, the lobbying affilate of The Humane Society of the United States!

I’m still working on the menu, but rest assured that we’ll have smores and marshmallows from Sweet & Sara, crispy soul chicken from Vegetarian’s Paradise 2, and BBQ veg meat buns from Buddha Bodai. I’ll also have goodies from Candle Cafe, Foodswings, Red Bamboo and Wild Ginger as well as other surprise treats that I don’t even have any idea about!

The party begins at 6pm and ends at 9:30pm. At 7:30pm, the party will dial-in to a national conference call with other HSLF Party Animals parties across the nation with a very special guest: “Brian” – the incredible Humane Society of the United States undercover investigator who helped expose the inhumane treatment of cows at a California slaughter plant — leading to the largest beef recall in the nation’s history.

Admission for this benefit party starts at only $35!

For more info and to RSVP, visit the NYC Party to Help Farm Animals webpage. Not in NYC? No problem, check out HSLF Party Animals events that will be held nationwide this Sunday. If you can’t make it for any of the events, you can still make an online donation to help farm animals and join me to meet my goal of raising $8888. (It’s good luck in Chinese!)
