Just in time for the grilling and BBQ season and after “three years in the making,” Tofurky has introduced a foot-long veggie dog–which is big news for everyone who thinks size matters.

Really, what’s wrong with the regular sized-dogs? It’s highly unlikely that Tofurky’s new big weiner will become a favorite of mine–though surely I’d try it before completely writing it off.

If I really had to choose, I’d prefer them to be thicker than longer, which is why I’m a big fan of Yves’s Jumbo Hot Dogs.

Update: A couple folks who are apparently quite into food porn (this time it’s quite literal) have suggested that this is a more tantalizing image of Tofurky’s new dog:
