This month we’ll be in a particularly celebratory mood: Vegan Drinks will be three years old and SuperVegan a very mature five years old!

On Thursday, May 26, from 7pm to 10pm, we’ll celebrate with some treats donated by our great friends at Sweet & Sara, Vérité Catering, and BabyCakes NYC. Draft beers and well drinks are a $1 off all night! All of this wonderfulness takes place at Angels & Kings Bar in the East Village.

The excellent Dj3dg (aka, Brian from the Ulster County SPCA) will share his record collection with us again this month Update: Brian can’t make it, but the excellent DJ Megan Rascal will be there in his stead!

We also still have food for you to purchase, including a much-improved vegan burger deluxe platter (with or without vegan cheese + fries and coleslaw), crispy vegan chikkin’ tenders, Pittsburgh-style coleslaw, fries and those ever dependable chips & salsa.

We’ll turn down the music around 8:30pm and encourage people to promote themselves, their groups and/or causes for 30 seconds. If you represent a veg*n or animal rights group, come prepared with your (very short!) spiel and literature.

   Just left the event and had a great time! Congratulations to the team, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of it over the years! I’ll be back (for real)…
