There will be a concert featuring veg*n performers and vegan food tonight (Wednesday, March 23) at Angels and Kings in the East Village. (This is the same bar where we host Vegan Drinks.)

Comedian and V-Spot guy Alex Carabano will MC, with music from Mercy Bell, John-Flor Sisante, and others yet to be announced.

There is a $5-$10 suggested donation, with proceeds going to MercyCorps. Angels and Kings is a bar, so you need to be 21 or older to get in.

There will be food from Verite Catering and The V-Spot, and a raffle.

(Next week’s Vegan Drinks will be a fundraiser too, with proceeds going to World Vets Japan Animal Disaster Relief, but more on that in another post.)
