Mohawk Bend is hosting Joseph Shuldiner, author of “Pure Vegan” and director of the Institute of Domestic Technology, on December 17th for the restaurant’s ongoing Meatless Monday series. A three-course dinner of a celery root and fennel chowder, polenta with wild mushrooms, hazelnuts and figs, and a pistachio olive oil cake will only cost you $20 per person or $40 per person for the meal and a signed copy of “Pure Vegan.” Reservations can be made by calling (213) 483-2337.

    Eric Roberts ain’t talking about the sitcom there. Does he know he’s being used to raise money for this, or is he like one of those actors from “The Innocence of Muslims” who had no idea what was being done with the footage that was shot.

    On the bright side, that woman seems HILARIOUS and the show will no doubt be a blast!
