Last year they offered vegan burgers; this year, the Philadelphia Philles are selling vegan hot dogs at Citizens Bank Park. I kinda hate baseball, but I like Philly and I like food. Two outta three ain’t bad!

If owner Jerry D’Addesi is to be believed, Philadelphia dietary demographics have changed a lot since I lived there a decade ago:

“Our neighborhood is full of young people and most of those young people are vegetarian and vegan,” D’Addesi said. “This is the biggest piece of the puzzle.”
