This one looks a bit like me, and there’s probably one like you!
I just got a supercute menstrual/moon calendar in the mail from Viva La Menstruacion. Honestly, I bought the business card sized fold-out calendar because its design is friggin’ adorable– it comes in 10 designs celebrating the wide spectrum of female beauty. I also got it because whenever I happen to go to the doctor it takes me an embarrassingly long amount of time to remember the date of my last period.
Apparently the calendar is most useful if you practice lunaception, a hippy form of birth control and conception aid in which a woman aligns her cycle with the moon; a practice that was popularized by Louise Lacey in the 70s.
You can purchase your own calendar for a measly $3 plus shipping. You even get awesome free bilingual (Spanish and English) stickers if you mention that you’re vegan!
