Watch the Entire CNBC Vegan Marshmallow Thing

We only had the teaser before, but now you can watch (in two parts) the entirety of CNBC’s “Business Nation” segment “A Puff Piece,” all about the Emes Kosher-Jel saga, the downfall of Vegan Supreme, and Sweet & Sara‘s phoenix act. It’s an informative piece, and doesn’t treat veganism as wacky or unreasonable (not really a given in the mainstream media). This high-profile exposure could also ruin a lot of teenage girls’ Memorial Day weekends; so many casual vegetarians are blissfully unaware that marshmallows are animal-based.

i think most people (including vegetarians) know that marshmallows come from gelatin, they just continue to eat them because its not a piece of meat on their plate. hopefully knowing about vegetarian marshmallows can change this!
