Wired News just ran a story on Patently Silly, NYC comedian Daniel Wright’s website that pokes fun at patents found on the website of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Wired reports:
One recurring theme Wright focuses on is the double standard Americans apply to the animals we live with and the animals we eat.
“If you’re a dog, you get umbrellas and all kinds of good things,” notes Wright. “But if you’re a cow, you get stuck in an MRI that’ll tell you how good your meat is going to taste…”
Daniel’s website seems pretty fun and his observations are smartly on-point. I actually found some inventions that’ll help me simplify my life on there. Check out this sweet bird perch.
